The posted compensation range of $72.88 - $108.42 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Director Nursing Cardiac Services for Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating the overall performance of the Cardiovascular Service Line.
Every day, you will provide operational oversight of clinical activities as it relates to program development and management, and identify opportunities for growth within service delivery. This position acts as liaison and communications link between medical staff,
nursing personnel, hospital employees and outside vendors. You will also oversee internal telemedicine processes and telehealth outreach efforts pertinent to the service line. This position is responsible for maintaining quality standards for the heart programs, maintaining current and accurate policies, procedures and practices pursuant to program accreditation and certification requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced director, with a track record of success in mid to large sized hospitals overseeing cardiac services. You must be competent and confident, with excellent communication skills one-on-one and in front of groups. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience required.
- Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
