Responsibilities

Our multispecialty group, Dignity Health Medical Group – Bakersfield, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN Physician to join our team in Bakersfield, California. We’re embarking on building a brand-new, comprehensive OB/GYN practice from the ground up to address the growing need for women’s healthcare in the community.


Practice Highlights:

  • Join an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist in a collaborative practice and share call responsibilities
  • Strong mentorship available to support your growth
  • No in-house call required
  • Emphasis on high-quality care rather than patient volume
  • Robotic surgery experience is a plus

Available Resources:

  • Access to Gynecologic Oncology and Perinatology services
  • RN triage coverage during after-hours and weekends
  • Dedicated marketing representative to help build your patient panel and connect with the community

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation range: $360,000 – $421,000/year
  • Excellent earning potential with a salary guarantee period and productivity bonus
  • Generous sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and CME allowance

Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • DEA Certification
