The posted compensation range of $41.97 - $62.43 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Manager, Nursing, you will contribute to the fulfillment of the CHI Health mission and vision by planning, designing, implementing and
maintaining programs, policies, and management systems in all facets of patient care administration in assigned
departments. Contributes to the integration of services between departments to assure patient-centered care
needs are met and quality, cost-effective care improvements are achieved. Serves as a role model for the ethical
management behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles
consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values of CHI Health.
- Closely collaborate with surgical services department leadership to effectively oversee the OR, SPD,
Pre/Post/PACU/PAT, anesthesia, and Endoscopy.
Collaborates on the development of action plans in alignment with movement toward value-based care. - Develop hospital score cards including cost, quality and experience metrics designed to ensure the surgical
services is delivering value.
Assist in the development of capital budgets to ensure financial health of surgical services. - Partner with medical staff to develop and strengthen relationships and engagement.
Participate in the creation of facility and technology needs to support surgical services.
Participate as needed in provider recruitment efforts from establishing priorities to interviewing and selecting
candidates. - Manage and coach performance including: setting goals, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance
progress, providing feedback, recognizing, developing skills and addressing performance issues related to work
and our commitments using corrective action if necessary with surgical services leaders.
Job Requirements
Required
- BSN
- Registered Nurse: KY, upon hire and
- Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience
- At least 5 years supervisory management experience in the operating room
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 6 months
