Responsibilities

Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is recruiting a Certified Physician Assistantto join our Orthopedic Surgery team in Downtown Seattle.

Virginia Mason Orthopedics is recognized as a leader in the region and nationwide for our total joint replacement Center of Excellence. Our Physician Assistants work closely with patients throughout their care journey: pre-operative care and preparation, in the operating room, inpatient care and post-operative care. Our staff includes: Surgeons, Physician Assistants, and a highly skilled team of non-operative Physicians, Medical Assistants, Surgery Schedulers and Nurses.

Qualifications

  • This position requires Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington
  • At least 2+ years of Orthopedic experience preferred, new graduates will be considered

Call requirements 

Shared weekday and weekend call responsibilities (includes pay for call)
