The posted compensation range of $15.71 - $22.19 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As a Clinic Receptionist, you will be the welcoming heart of our clinic, creating a comforting and efficient environment for every patient journey.
Every day, you will expertly manage patient reception, coordinate essential administrative tasks, leverage technology for seamless operations, and thoughtfully guide diverse patient populations, ensuring they feel at ease and understand their care instructions.
To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, technological proficiency, genuine compassion for patient well-being, and an adaptable, patient approach to facilitating a positive experience for all.
- Performs patient check-in at the time of visit; interviews patients and completes all paperwork necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient, and all clinic and regulatory policies are in compliance.
- Copy/scan patient medical records, benefit/insurance information, and related hardcopy materials (e.g. ID, referrals, insurance cards, etc.) into the correct location in the electronic medical record system
- Perform patient check-out including pricing services, coding of procedures performed, and diagnosis on charge, to accurately support the need and documentation for each service.
- Answer phone calls, confirm next day appointments, ensure insurance coverage, and alert patients as to what documentation is needed, including details associated with time-of-service payment schedules.
