The posted compensation range of $150.00 - $199.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

This position will join a team seeking to truly optimize health care for the communities we serve. This position will commit to developing clinical teams that will provide leadership to create the highest quality and cost-effective healthcare within our integrated delivery system. This position will be accountable for identifying and implementing opportunities to meet organizational strategic goals, physician alignment, patient experience, financial performance, and provider and staff engagement, and produce excellent clinical outcomes. Leads and develops effective multidisciplinary approaches to clinical outcome management and environments of quality, safety, and engagement. This position will foster and support the evolution of the execution of sustainable, growing, and distinctive organization that measurably improves the health of the individuals and the communities.
This position will be an active participant and work collaboratively with other leadership teams to continually assess, development, implement, and achieve the medical group's goals, strategies, and outcomes. This position will work closely with corporate leadership teams, entity leadership teams, and medical staff in the development planning, network development, practice acquisition and physician recruitment to ensure ability to provide high quality, accessible care to the communities it serves.
Important to this role is understanding the leadership expectations of this position and the entire leadership team throughout. Each leader must have a personal and professional connection to the Mission of this Christian organization. This position must be a team player themselves and contribute toward a Team centered approach that lends itself to ensuring "team before self". This position will invite others into their work to be fully transparent with the activities of this position, allowing for celebration of success and learnings through opportunities for change. This position will be a change agent for the
health system by being bold in our thoughts and actions that generate the need for Urgency as the organization forges ahead as the thought leader in the industry. Finally, the individual must demonstrate personal and professional Accountability to the community, associates, physicians, and sponsors for performance that this position and its team complete.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Doctorate (MD or DO) in Medicine required.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Colorado required.
- Three years' experience in delivery of physician services and medical staff administration with proven success in progressive responsibility in healthcare leadership; five years or more preferred.
- Currently or previously have lived in the Greater Denver area highly desired.
- Medical staff relations, quality measurement credentialing and previous medical management experience highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, managed care and health policy is essential with proven success in effective integration of medical management.
- Board certified in an approved clinical specialty required while in clinical practices.

Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
