The posted compensation range of $64.37 - $100.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Provides administrative leadership and direction to Physician Enterprise, hospital or clinic based market practices and for all hospital or clinic based service lines. including, but not limited to: hospital medicine/hospitalists, critical care medicine/intensivists, radiology, anesthesia, pathology and emergency medicine. Serves on the Leadership Team, provides leadership in strategic and operational decision making. Acts as liaison for Medical Leadership. Responsible for practice operations and employed physician relations. Facilitates development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of services within the market through collaboration with organization's leaders, clinical/medical practice directors and other management. Works closely with the Executive Leadership Team to accomplish the goals and objectives within the strategic plan for physician practices and physician services to achieve market goals and objectives. Works with physician leaders to develop and implement operating strategies to meet the needs of the patient population. Provides direct support for employed physician related transactions and development activity. Responsible for operational management of hospital based or clinic based physician practices. Responsible for physician practice's fiscal performance including expense control and revenue generation. Assure adherence to policies, procedures and compliance with standards set forth by state, federal and hospital regulatory agencies. Possess knowledge of Information Systems - EMR, and knowledge of Finance, Physician Reimbursement, Accounting, Budgets, and Insurance. Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementation of strategies necessary to organize and grow services integrated.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
- Master's Degree Preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of management in clinical and/or health system operations leadership.
- A minimum of 5 years management of hospital or clinic-based physicians is required. Strong knowledge/application of systems framework, excellent strategic thinking skills, demonstrated resource, management, and stewardship skills, strong team orientation, good understanding of total quality management concepts, strong customer focus, demonstrated ability to lead/implement change activities, demonstrated skills in influencing through relationships, excellent analytical thinking skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Significant and proven leadership skills developed through several years in senior and management positions within the acute care hospital or clinic based setting is desirable.
- An in-depth knowledge of hospital or clinic based programs is required, knowledge of other hospital based physician specialties is desirable.
- Broad knowledge of the trends and changes taking places within the field of inpatient medicine.
- Ability to build a collaborative venture with diverse constituents.
- Strong interpersonal skills that include the ability to inspire and motivate, effective conflict resolution and change agent skills
- Program management with the ability to direct activities across multiple facilities and teams
