The posted compensation range of $32.51 - $50.51 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to lead our Cash Posting and Reporting function, playing a critical role in our financial stability and operational excellence.

You'll directly contribute to our organization's financial strength and play a key role in shaping how our cash department is perceived, fostering trust and professionalism with every interaction.
What You'll Bring to Our Team - Your Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Guardianship: Drive the timely and accurate execution of all cash posting, month-end closings, and financial reporting. You'll ensure benchmarks are consistently met, contributing directly to our strategic goals.
- Empowering Leadership: Serve as a positive role model and mentor, fostering a collaborative and engaging environment for your team. You'll empower staff by providing essential resources, tools, and ongoing development opportunities.
- Cultivating Excellence: Actively involve your team through a participative leadership style, encouraging open communication and nurturing their professional growth. You'll take a genuine interest in their development, judiciously delegating tasks, and identifying crucial training needs.
- Strategic Problem-Solver: Take initiative, plan proactively, and exercise excellent judgment in decision-making. You'll skillfully prevent or minimize conflicts, adeptly bringing discussions to an acceptable consensus through strong negotiation skills.
- Performance & Development Champion: Oversee employee orientation and comprehensive training. You'll provide clear expectations, conduct timely and thorough performance appraisals, and maintain accurate records to support continuous growth and success within the team.
- Quality Assurance & Improvement: Implement and maintain robust systems for validating quality, monitoring performance monthly, and developing effective action plans to address any discrepancies. You'll ensure reporting is distributed promptly to appropriate stakeholders
Job Requirements
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Bachelors degree in business related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- Possesses comprehensive understanding of Insurance billing and follow-up practices, hospital information, collection practice rules and regulations, and system functionality in order to adequately address account issues.
- 4 years of experience in revenue cycle (billing, patient access, and/or follow-up) preferred
- 2 years in a healthcare leadership role preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Exhibits high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and correspondence
- Quickly incorporates technological advances that enhance productivity and service
- Preferred experience in the healthcare billing, payment posting, processing or follow up
- Preffered experience with google sheets and Proficient with Excel
