The posted compensation range of $30.91 - $45.98 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others by use of available devices.
- Able to perform the clerical functions of order entry and film sign out with the use of the computer system as well as being able to file/retrieve films and hang/remove films from film viewers.
- Displays competency operating teleradiology system.
- Displays competency operating equipment and performing procedures in the department, in the operating room, and on a mobile basis.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work and assures that rooms are stocked with the necessary supplies and accessories.
- Accurately marks all radiographs with side and position. Assures that the patient information is clearly visible.

Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Chandler, the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 429-bed, not-for-profit hospital with more than 2,600 team members and almost 1,000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999, but has been part of the community for more than 50 years. The hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center, a Heart and Vascular Center, a Wound Healing Center, a Family Birth Center and many additional services. Dignity Health Chandler Regional, Mercy Gilbert, and Arizona General Hospital Mesa awarded $422,000 in grants to support five community projects led by 15 local organizations. Since 1991, Dignity Health's Community Health Improvement Grants program has provided $91 million to nearly 3,800 health projects, focusing on vulnerable and underserved populations.
