The posted compensation range of $232,440 - $355,306 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Join CommonSpirit Primary Care Broadmoor, a well-established primary care clinic in Colorado Springs, conveniently located near the intersection of Lake Avenue and Venetucci Boulevard. Our practice offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary care in a collaborative environment focused on accessibility and whole-person care.
As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive care to individuals and families while delivering compassionate care that supports both acute and long-term health needs.
Key Primary Care Physician Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population
- Diagnose and treat acute conditions, including illnesses and minor injuries (e.g., flu, strep throat)
- Perform annual physicals, wellness exams, and preventive health screenings
- Administer immunizations and promote preventive care strategies
- Manage and treat chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, and cardiovascular disease
- Conduct sports physicals
- Deliver whole-person care, addressing physical, emotional, and preventive health needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care

Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Primary Care Physicians will have:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
- Successful completion of an accredited residency or fellowship program aligned with the area of specialty
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in the appropriate specialty (as recognized by the hospital)
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state (or eligibility to obtain)
- Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff privileges within the health system at the sponsoring institution
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
