The posted compensation range of $30.91 - $51.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Are you eager to explore diverse IT functions, from cybersecurity to clinical applications? Then the CommonSpirit Health Administrative Fellowship in Information Technology is your opportunity to drive innovation!

About the Fellowship:
Launch your career in healthcare technology with our immersive 18-month post-graduate program focused on Information Technology (IT). This fellowship is meticulously designed to cultivate future leaders in healthcare technology by providing broad exposure and hands-on experience. Through structured rotational learning, you'll delve into diverse IT functions, including Technology operations, Clinical Data & Applications management, and Cybersecurity. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of technology operations, product development lifecycles, and digital innovation strategies within a large healthcare system. This remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere with occasional travel opportunities, has an anticipated start date in July 2027. This program is your gateway to making a significant impact on patient care and operational excellence through technology.

What You'll Do:

  • Meaningful Projects: Lead initiatives that support CommonSpirit Health's goals.
  • Executive Mentorship: Work closely with executive sponsors to guide your rotations.
  • Invest in Your Future: You will be able to customize your professional development through conferences, memberships, certifications, and more through a designated Fellow budget.
  • Skill Development: Hone your management, decision-making, and change management abilities.
  • Mentorship & Networking: Build relationships with leaders and peers.
  • Hands-On Operations: Gain practical experience in various functional areas.
  • Leadership Opportunities: Take on substantive projects to develop your skills.
  • Diverse IT Experiences:This IT Remote fellowship will specifically focus on accelerating leadership development and strategic placement within the National IT landscape, providing fellows with critical involvement and project work to elevate their insight and expertise, with direct advocacy from the Executive Champion for their post-fellowship role.

  • Master of Science in Cybersecurity
  • Or equivalent degree from an accredited graduate program

Graduation Status: Completion of all on-campus requirements and eligibility to graduate upon fellowship completion
Experience: Less than 5 years of professional experience.
Graduation Date: Must have graduated with an applicable Master’s Degree between Spring 2024 and Spring 2028.
Passion: A passion for CommonSpirit Health's mission and a commitment to "humankindness."
Commitment: Demonstrate interest in supporting the information technology needs of an integrated healthcare delivery system.
