Responsibilities
  • Provides advice, guidance, and support to help people to adopt and embed best-practice approaches to process management. Maintains procedures in the assigned area of responsibility. Reviews them regularly for effectiveness and efficiency. Manages and maintains process compliance in line with business and regulatory requirements involving knowledge of technical processes, tools and techniques. Identifies, assesses and communicates associated risks.
  • Own and drive the strategic workforce planning roadmap across business units, incorporating long-term hiring forecasts, skill demand trends, and organizational capacity goals.
  • Advise executive leadership on resource strategy, contractor utilization, and talent optimization efforts.
  • Lead large-scale process transformations and system implementations (e.g., onboarding systems, workforce tracking tools, vendor management platforms).
  • Establish and refine enterprise-wide processes for SOW management, vendor governance, and professional services oversight.
  • Serve as a thought leader on operational scalability, training infrastructure, and workforce readiness.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Procurement, and Finance to ensure cohesive policies, data integrity, and budgeting accuracy.
  • Coach and develop senior analysts and operational staff, building internal capability for long-term sustainability.
  • Selects, acquires and integrates data for analysis. Develops data hypotheses and methods, trains and evaluates analytics models, shares insights and findings and continues to iterate with additional data.
  • Models and analyzes current state and future state processes; fosters understanding of how a project impacts current state. 
  • Seeks to identify repeatable issues or requests and perform continuous process improvement activities to ultimately improve customer satisfaction experience.
  • Develop knowledge and participate in transitions including training others.
  • Effectively communication across teams and all levels of management. The incumbent will exercise expert business judgment, financial management knowledge, and effective leadership skills across the enterprise to identify, measure, and drive positive outcomes for the organization.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in workforce planning, operational strategy, or resource management roles.
  • Proven experience influencing at the executive level and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Expertise in analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI), workforce systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow), and vendor lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with IT onboarding/offboarding processes and training platforms (e.g., LMS systems).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
  • Strong business acumen and systems thinking with a focus on efficiency and scale.
  • Demonstrated success in improving operational processes and workforce data systems.
  • Ability to interpret data, spot trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • ITIL Foundations preferred.
  • Strong understanding and comfort leading business and technology partners through a structured development and/or implementation life cycle and support model is required.
  • Experience with contractor/vendor management systems or professional services operations.
  • Knowledge of SOW tracking, procurement, or project-based resourcing.
  • Ability to understand technology projects and concepts as they relate to high-level business objectives, and ability to present those concepts to both IT and non-IT audiences in a concise and easily-understandable manner is required.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlines is required.
  • Proven abilities in problem management, process analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Highly self-motivated, ability to complete assignments with limited supervision, and attention to detail is required.
  • Operational understanding and ability to work in a complex and matrix oriented team environment; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong command of key productivity applications is required.
  • Operational knowledge of CommonSpirit's business operations, legacy systems, interfaces/EDI, and evolving technology is desired.
