The posted compensation range of $54.76 - $81.45 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

The Sr Strategy and Planning Program Manager has a solid line reporting directly to the Manager Strategic Alignment. They are responsible for identifying, analyzing and monitoring issues that affect organizational strategy, plan and operating models. This role manages the analytical and research activities supporting the organizations strategic, short-term, and long-range goal planning function. This role oversees data collection and conducts organizational reviews to identify organizational strengths and weaknesses, and evaluates operational effectiveness. This role also designs and executes methods to track and measure organizational performance data to use for planning. The Sr Strategy and Planning Program Manager is responsible for ensuring approved IT investments are aligned with the strategic direction of the organization as outlined by the VP they are aligned to support. The Sr Strategy and Planning Program Manager must have the ability to engage with Sr Leaders to clarify business objectives, capture and analyze requests, and assess strategic alignment and value. This position is vital to ensuring the health of the business units within the ACED organization, approved IT investments, and aligning the "right" work to division strategies and goals.
The Sr Strategy and Planning Program Manager is expected to work autonomously and have minimal interaction with the Manager Strategic Alignment. Through collaboration, demonstrates sound leadership while focusing on effective management of approved division IT investments and operational performance.
As an IT Sr. Strategy and Planning Program Manager, you will be a central figure responsible for driving the strategic development, planning, and execution of complex IT programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals and long-term organizational vision. You will play a vital role in translating strategic intent into actionable IT roadmaps and large-scale program delivery.
Every day, you will leverage your advanced program management and strategic planning expertise to orchestrate cross-functional teams, meticulously define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, and manage complex interdependencies across multiple projects.
To be successful in this role, you will combine extensive experience in IT program management, a proven track record in strategic planning and execution, and exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Effectively manage IT investment strategy and planning for the ACED organization
- Engage with ACED VPs to stay abreast of priorities, strategies and goals
- Engage in stakeholder meetings to stay abreast of investment requests and their alignment to strategy
- Identify and clarify business objectives for all ACED IT investment requests
- Ensure investments are aligned to the strategic direction of the ACED organization and national
- Continuously evaluate ways to maximize the value of all ACED IT investments
- Effectively manage business sponsor and stakeholder relationships
- Play an active role in strategic long-range planning of the ACED organization, identifying interdependencies and escalating risks and issues as needed
- Monitor the health of strengths and weaknesses that may impact ACED business unit strategy and plan
- Establish and maintain channels of communication between assigned business unit, National IT and other relevant stakeholders
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of strategy, planning and operational effectiveness
