The posted compensation range of $72.88 - $108.42 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

The System Director of Virtually Integrated Care (VIC) Service Lines is responsible for the overall administration and success of Service Lines within CommonSpirit Health (CSH) Virtually Integrated CareSM programs in alignment with national, regional, and local leadership. This position is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating the provision of a standard delivery of clinical services for the assigned service line(s) in accordance with the professional standards of the clinical disciplines, applicable regulatory requirements and business/patient care objectives of the organization. This role provides strategic leadership in assessing, developing and implementing initiatives/activities which improve financial performance/productivity, maximize effective utilization of resources, enhance patient outcomes/service satisfaction of all identified customer groups and generate a competitive advantage. This role works in close collaboration with the CSH VIC national, regional and local partners and other regional departments/services lines with respect to business plan development and to coordinate services across the care continuum.

  • Closely collaborate with leadership partners to effectively oversee the VIC service line across the continuum.
  • Develops and directs multi-horizon service line strategies and action plans in alignment with movement toward value-based care.
  • Develops and implements business plans to integrate, optimize and grow service lines across the continuum of care.
  • Develop non-traditional services that meet the needs of consumers outside traditional hospital settings.
  • Monitor, utilize and support development of comprehensive, balanced scorecards including cost, quality and experience metrics designed to ensure the service line is delivering value.
  • Identify metrics that measure value in non-traditional, non-hospital centric terms.
  • Partner with medical staff and physician enterprise leadership to develop and strengthen relationships and engagement with closely aligned providers in all regions across the continuum.
  • Directs the distribution and rationalization of services, and appropriate allocation of resources to support the service delivery model.
  • Actively pursues market through growth, innovation and other new business development opportunities within the service line.
  • Determine facility and technology needs to support the VIC service line delivery model.
  • Works collaboratively with Marketing to develop marketing and communication tactics that support service line strategies and direction.
  • Directs appropriate management practices, maintenance of appropriate staffing levels, competency assessments, staff orientation, ongoing education and development in all areas of responsibility.

Required

  • Masters Of Nursing Required
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse Practictioner Required
  • Seven years of progressively responsible related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities
  • Five years in a leadership /management capacity. Experience with multi-site, in- and outpatient operations
  • Proven track record in achieving results through a highly collaborative leadership team (providers, clinicians and managers) is essential to success 
  • Experience in virtual care models
