P/T Primary Care NP or PA
The posted compensation range of $70.00 - $80.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As a Primary Care NP or PA with Dr. Sami Khouri, you will:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients.
- Conduct physical exams including well-woman exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, manage chronic conditions and refer to specialists.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and provide patient/family education.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current and valid California NP or PA license.
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) OR current NCCPA certification.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in primary care strongly preferred.
- New graduate NP’s with a strong inpatient RN background are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of primary care principles and practice.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
