The posted compensation range of $16.33 - $24.30 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As a Patient Service Representative at our Heart Clinic, you will be the welcoming face and voice for our cardiac patients, playing a crucial role in their experience and supporting the clinical team. Your day will be spent in a dynamic environment, directly impacting patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Front-Line Patient Welcome: Provide exceptional reception and telephone support specifically for our Heart Clinic patients, offering a compassionate and reassuring first point of contact.
- Seamless Cardiac Care Coordination: Manage and maintain comprehensive medical records for cardiology patients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Financial & Administrative Efficiency: Handle charge entry and support the administrative functions vital for the smooth operation of a specialized cardiac clinic.
- Referral & Information Hub: Expertly manage patient referrals to and from other specialists and departments, ensuring continuity of care. Efficiently retrieve critical medical information from internal and external systems and sources, often pertaining to complex cardiac histories.
- Collaborative Patient Support: Actively communicate and collaborate with both our expert cardiology healthcare team and the patient/family. You will play a vital role in identifying and supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals seeking cardiovascular care.
- Compassionate Relationship-Based Care: Demonstrate personal accountability for delivering relationship-based care, upholding our organizational mission, and exemplifying our core values in every interaction within our Heart Clinic.

Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Previous work history that demonstrates basic office and computer skills, filing, telephone answering, reception, basic knowledge of computer software i.e. Microsoft Word, E-mail, Excel , etc.
- High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements - Sedentary Work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert/lift up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
