The posted compensation range of $39.18 - $58.28 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.
Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.
To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, adaptable, exceptionally organized, and a personable, motivating team player.
- Meets or exceeds the productivity standard on an individual basis and department level.
- Completes documentation of treatment minutes and enters electronic charges accurately and timely.
- Participates in continuing education and develops advanced skills that enhance and align with department, clinical and business development.
- Participates on internal and external task force, committee or board appropriate to diagnostic program per manager approval.
- Completes general and specialty competencies appropriate to clinical area for patient care management.
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting
- Occupational Therapist: AZ License
- American Heart Associaiton Basic Life Support - CPR
Preferred
- Masters Degree
- Doctorate Of Science in appropriate clinical area
- 2 years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care
- Experience in women's health treating postpartum and bedrest conditions
- Minimum of 2 years of patient acute care experience
- The ability to float to Medical Surgical units for census flexibility
