The posted compensation range of $53.46 - $74.15 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the IR/NIR Manager, the Lead Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient flow and resources within the Interventional Department and Imaging procedural areas. The Lead Registered Nurse will effectively communicate with hospital departments to ensure that the Interventional and procedural team is informed and prepared for the needs of the patients.
- The Lead Registered Nurse will work with the patient units, House Supervisor and outpatient referring offices to coordinate scheduling of interventional procedures and assign staff in a manner that is consistent with the department and hospital scheduling guidelines.
- The Lead Registered Nurse for IR and Imaging procedural areas will assist and provide care for patients undergoing IR/NIR and other imaging procedures that require nursing coverage.
- The Lead Registered Nurse will communicate and coordinate with the Interventional Radiologist and anesthesiologists as needed for case scheduling.
- This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Three (3) years of Interventional Radiology experience as an RN in an acute care hospital environment serving in a role having responsibilities which must include effective communication and problem solving.
- Able to function as a resource for other staff within imaging procedural areas.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- RN = Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
- CT CPRBLS = Basic Life Support CPR.
CT CPRACLS = Advanced Cardiac Life Support CPR. - CT CPRPALS = Pediatric Advanced Life Support CPR. Preferred:
- Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Preferred:
- Four(4) years of Interventional/Radiology experience in an acute care hospital environment as a Charge Nurse or in a leadership position requiring problem solving and serving as a resource for other
nurses and staff. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- CNOR Certification.
