The posted compensation range of $45.26 - $67.32 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our Market Manager of Worker's Compensation, you will help our employees navigate and manage their workers' compensation claims and overall health services so they can focus on their recovery and return to work safely and efficiently, while ensuring compliance and operational excellence across all Nevada market facilities.
Every day you will be expected to oversee the comprehensive development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all Employee Health Services, including worker's compensation programs, throughout the Nevada market. You will be expected to proactively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR and Infection Prevention, to ensure compliance with all professional standards and applicable regulatory/accreditation requirements.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate exceptional leadership and operational management skills with this data: The incumbent is responsible for development, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of all Employee Health Services in accordance with professional standards and applicable regulatory/accreditation requirements.
- The Nevada Market Employee Health will proactively communicate with other departments, including HR and Infection Prevention, to ensure continuity in knowledge and understanding of CDC and OSHA guidelines, along with other pertinent regulatory and/or legal requirements or recommendations.
- Supervises Employee Health team including Workers Compensation team. Provides operational oversight. Recommends and implements business and operational processes, systems, programs, and standards in collaboration with key stakeholders across campuses within the market.
- Oversees Employee Health pre-placement requirements as part of the pre-boarding process. Collaborates as appropriate with other stakeholders on quality improvement initiatives including employee safety.
- Coaches, mentors, and evaluates Employee Health staff to promote employee engagement, development and success. Ensures compliance with licensing, federal, state and local regulatory agencies and public health requirements.
- Plans, organizes, leads, communicates, and participates in all activities within Employee Health and Workers Compensation (if applicable) job descriptions.
- Manages productivity and expenses for the market. Manages employee health vendor contracts and billing. Ensures Employee Health department produces a high level of customer service in daily operations.
Job Requirements
Minimum:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 years in an Occupational/Employee Health or applicable healthcare setting.
- 10 years Employee Health or leadership experience in the discipline
- Demonstrated employee health experience with a working knowledge of CDC guidelines, OSHA guidelines, regulatory requirements and federal/state/local laws for employee health
Preferred:
Active RN license in good standing with the Nevada State Board of Nursing
