The posted compensation range of $39.08 - $58.14 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

The PE Manager Quality-Patient Safety-TX Physician Enterprise is responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating all quality and performance improvement initiatives within the ambulatory environment, ensuring alignment with the Texas PE strategic goals and regulatory requirements. This position acts as a subject matter expert for ambulatory clinical quality metrics and reporting, with a strong focus on patient safety, clinical excellence, and efficient workflows. The Manager Quality-Patient Safety-TX Physician Enterprise will directly supervise all Quality Management RNs, Care Coordinators, and Medicare Annual Wellness Nurses within the ambulatory clinics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high reliability. The Manager Quality-Patient Safety-TX Physician Enterprise also provides ongoing training of clinical staff within the clinics.

Quality Management & Improvement - Ambulatory Focus:

Leads and directs quality functions specifically across ambulatory clinics.

Develops, implements, and monitors quality improvement projects and initiatives tailored for the outpatient setting.

Identifies opportunities for process improvement, patient safety enhancements, and risk reduction in ambulatory care.

Collaborates with clinic leadership and staff to integrate best practices and standardized workflows.


Clinical Oversight & Education:

Educates ambulatory clinical staff on applicable quality, safety, and clinical practice standards and guidelines.

Provides clinical expertise and support to ensure compliance with evidence-based practices and regulatory requirements in the ambulatory space.

Oversees the clinical competence and development of Quality Management RNs, Care coordinators, and Medicare Annual Wellness Nurses.

Coordinates ongoing education of medical assistants


Performance Reporting & Analytics:

Serves as the primary contact and subject matter expert for all quality metrics applicable to ambulatory clinics.

Ensures accurate and timely collection, analysis, and submission of quality data for internal review, external reporting, and participation in value-based care programs.

Utilizes data to identify trends, measure outcomes, and drive performance improvement initiatives within ambulatory clinics.


Patient Safety and Infection Prevention:

Supports the deployment of national and regional initiatives related to patient safety and infection prevention within the ambulatory clinic setting.

Works to achieve highly reliable processes, outstanding clinical outcomes, and improvements to population health across the ambulatory care continuum.

Investigates and facilitates resolution of patient safety events and near misses in collaboration with clinic management.


Supervisory Responsibility:

Directly manages and provides leadership to the Quality Management RNs, Care Coordinators, and Medicare Annual Wellness Nurses supporting ambulatory clinics.

Responsible for hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development of direct reports.

Fosters a collaborative and engaged team environment focused on achieving quality objectives.


Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

Ensures ambulatory clinics adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to quality and patient care.

Stays current with changes in healthcare regulations and best practices impacting ambulatory quality.


Collaboration and Communication:

Works closely with the other quality leaders, PE Leadership, HIM, Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, ACO/CIN, and Data Analytics teams to align ambulatory quality initiatives with broader medical group strategies.

Communicates regularly with clinic managers and staff regarding quality performance, initiatives, and educational needs


Job Requirements

Bachelors Of Nursing upon hire preferred and

5 years of clinical experience Required
