The posted compensation range of $96.59 - $135.23 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Market VP, Oncology Service Line, you will serve as the executive leader for the Oncology Clinical Service Line across specified markets, driving its overall success and administration through strategic implementation and seamless operational oversight.

Every day you will collaborate with functional leaders, ensuring quality patient care and comprehensive health services by directing effective communication and promoting standardization across campuses. You will also drive performance across all service line areas including quality, operations, finance, regulatory compliance, and market share growth, aligning with our mission and values. Furthermore, you will work with executive sponsors to grow volume, improve service, and control costs through process improvement, serving as the primary liaison between the service line and physicians.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional executive leadership, deep expertise in oncology clinical operations and strategic planning, and a proven ability to drive quality patient care, financial performance, and market growth within a complex, multi-market environment.

  • Identifies and explores opportunities for expanding or improving current services. Looks for ways to approach both team and organizational goals.
  • Defines and analyzes work flow and processes to improve efficiency and increase patient, physician, and associate satisfaction.
  • Routinely communicates the organizational mission, vision and goals with team members, encouraging them to take ownership and be engaged in the organization’s performance.
  • Demonstrates timely and effective communication skills in daily interaction with team members and others.
  • Seeks to proactively improve the quality of the services provided by focusing on the mission and core values of CommonSpirit Health.
  • Promotes creativity, risk taking, and synergy within the work team.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or Post Graduate degree
  • 4-6 years experience with a minimum 5 years in hospital operations at the administrative leadership level
