The posted compensation range of $43.10 - $64.11 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Supervisor on our Cath Lab Team, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery while presenting a positive attitude and being reliable. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

To thrive in this role, The Supervisor of the Cath Lab is accountable for the supervision and performance of the Cath Lab daily operations, patient throughput, personnel, inventory management and ensuring compliance with standards of care for the designated service line (coronary, peripheral and EP). Responsible for other duties delegated from the Director of the Cath Lab.

  1. Manages day to day operations of the Cath Lab including patient throughput, collaboration with physicians and the cath lab patient schedule.
  2. Responsible for the hiring, evaluating, performing disciplinary action, and coaching of the staff in conjunction with the Director of the Cath Lab.
  3. Oversees staff and “on call” schedule ensuring appropriate experience and skill mix for all shifts.
  4. Maintains responsibility for ensuring properly functioning equipment and adequate supplies.
  5. Identifies opportunities for improvement and communicates via occurrence reports or direct communication with Leadership Team.
  6. Participates in policy creation or revisions and staff compliance with the policies.


Job Requirements

Required:

  • Graduate of an accedited institution of Radiology Technology or Associate Degree Nursing
  • Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab expereince
  • Credential: RDCS or RCIS or RTR or TX RN 
  • American Heart Associstion BLS
  • American Heart Association ACLS
