Responsibilities

The Nutrition Service Manager  will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team to achieve sales targets. This role requires highlighting your experience in staff management, driving sales growth, and maintaining high standards of store cleanliness.

  • Serve as a representative of the company and Starbucks in the eyes of your baristas and customers, role modeling the Starbucks Experience and ensuring every moment is exceptional.
  • Inspire and guide your team through leadership, helping them create the Starbucks Experience while embodying the company’s Mission and Values daily in your store.
  • Identify growth opportunities for the store and communicate actionable plans to your team to achieve set goals.
  • Utilize existing tools, resources, programs, and frameworks to drive operational excellence.
  • Analyze performance and elevate issues to your leader when necessary.
  • Support baristas by equipping them with the skills and information needed to deliver the Starbucks Experience to customers and each other, engaging in coaching conversations as needed.
  • Inspire high performance by demonstrating a passion for Starbucks culture, coffee, and customer engagement, while appreciating and recognizing your baristas’ efforts.
  • Understand and address the obstacles that baristas face, which may hinder their ability to deliver the Starbucks Experience.
  • Build strong working relationships with your team, collaborate with other teams within the company, and maintain open communication with the Starbucks district manager.
  • Model personal growth through self-awareness and reflection.
  • Prepare, lead, and transition shifts effectively. Consistent approaches throughout these phases will enable Daily Operations leaders to learn and improve.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that enhances teamwork and creates a consistent experience for both baristas and customers.


Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field; or Associates of Arts degree with five (5) years of job related experience in lieu of the BA degree.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) within 12 months of hire or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist required if they are the highest ranking leader at the facility. If not currently certified, certification to be obtained within 12 months. Current certification as a ServSafe© Food Protection Manager. Current (within 30 days)  ServSafe© Allergen certifications.
