The posted compensation range of $46.74 - $67.77 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
- Engages stakeholders in the market/region, both internal and external, in the development, tracking, and successful administration of department operations for the region.
- Markets program to regional partners, payers and community representatives, with a focus on growing relationships in support of the clinical operations team.
- Serves as a liaison between team and executive leadership staff.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates policies and procedures for department(s).
- Responsible for business plan and budget of assigned cost centers
- Serves as clinical advisor and leader in interactions with health plans, employers, and network participating providers.
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline; Master’s Degree strongly preferred
- 5 years of leadership experience with 3 years at the manager level
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high performing service organization
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and positively impact operations in a large healthcare organization through a matrix relationship
- Broad understanding of the healthcare industry
- Strong working knowledge of software platforms
Overview
The position leads the development, implementation, and oversight of the department(s) as assigned in order to ensure the delivery of high quality, coordinated, and efficient care for patients covered under Common Spirit Health's value-based contracts. The position has management responsibility for all CSH staff and departments as assigned. The role closely collaborates with other CSH leadership teams across the continuum and the enterprise with a goal of providing high quality cost effective patient centered care to our patients. The Director is responsible for operational activities within each of the departments assigned including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, corrective actions and termination of employees within the team. This position will work closely with other departments and department leaders at the local, regional and national level as needed. The successful Director will set the vision for the department in concert with their supervising manager and is responsible for disseminating the vision to the rest of the team. Finally the Director will have a working knowledge of regulatory,
accreditation and contractual obligations dictating the priorities and workflows for their team(s) and will know when and how to seek out additional assistance / expertise when necessary.
