The posted compensation range of $108,201 - $148,782/year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As an Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner with CHI St. Vincent Medical Group, you will join our busy and established practice at the CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas - Kanis location, playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality cardiac care to our community.
Every day you will provide expert clinical care, working independently to manage patient needs within our specialized Electrophysiology department. You will utilize the Epic EHR system to ensure seamless clinical documentation and care coordination as you manage a diverse patient population, contributing significantly to our clinic's reputation for excellence in heart health.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced and compassionate Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner with strong clinical skills, a commitment to high-quality comprehensive care, and possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Prior Electrophysiology experience—either as an RN or as an APRN—is required. In your role, you will:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs and rhythm strips, and manage anti-arrhythmic medication therapy.
- Educate patients on complex cardiac procedures, devices (such as pacemakers and ICDs), and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate effectively with our Electrophysiology physicians and the broader heart clinic team to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records within our Epic system.
- Function within the legal scope of practice as defined by state regulations and your collaborative agreement.
Job Requirements
Required
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Active or eligible License and DEA in the state of Arkansas
- Current AHA Basic Life Support certification
Preferred
- 1-3+ years previous Electrophysiology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
- 5+ years Electrophysiology experience as an RN
