The posted compensation range of $27.97 - $41.60 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Market Development Rep, you will cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with community physicians, driving awareness and interest in targeted services and service lines, serving as a vital connection point between the medical community and our organization.

Every day you will operate under the direction of the Region Vice President of Market Development, collaborating with Senior Hospital Leadership. You will develop acute knowledge in specified service lines to increase interest and awareness, building existing physician relations and establishing new ones. You will proactively identify barriers to physician satisfaction, communicate issues to leadership, and ensure managed follow-up to address concerns.

To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a keen understanding of healthcare services and physician needs. You will demonstrate a proactive, results-oriented approach, assessing market trends, articulating service offerings, and effectively addressing physician feedback. Your strategic thinking and collaboration across leadership levels will be crucial for service line growth and physician satisfaction.

  • Promote Hospital services and programs to physicians and their office staffs to maximize utilization and enhance awareness of hospital capabilities.
  • Interface effectively between physicians and the Hospital to ensure physician satisfaction with hospital services and programs and work effectively with hospital operations and clinical staff to resolve physician issues. 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance physician participation in Clinical Integration strategies.
  • Utilize sales techniques to gain understanding of physician needs and perceptions and share this information with senior leadership to effect operational change where needed.
  • Use internal and external data analytics and resources to identify key community physicians who can drive market share and incremental volume to the hospital, and implement sales strategies to achieve growth projections.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors in Communications, Marketing, Business or Healthcare administration, or a comparable combination of education and experience is required
  • Five years experience as a physician liaison or recruiter, or equivalent experience in the healthcare field such as pharmaceutical sales, managed care, surgery center management or practice administration 
  • This position requires significant travel within assigned Arkansas territory
