The posted compensation range of $59.58 - $81.70 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Manager, Cardiovascular, you will provide vital leadership and operational oversight for a comprehensive range of cardiovascular services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Every day you will manage the daily operations of assigned cardiovascular units or services, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and process improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical knowledge in cardiovascular care, exceptional leadership and communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of cardiovascular service line operations, and proven experience in a healthcare leadership role, preferably within a cardiovascular setting.
  • Coordinates and evaluates the daily operations of the department (staffing; acuity; budget; supplies, clinical outcomes). Monitors and oversees charge and charge reconciliation. Participates in the recruitment and retention of department employees (open FTEs; turn over rates).
  • Supports hospital operation effectiveness and effectively communicates with staff. Promotes and facilitates patient education and staff development in department.
  • Performs annual and ongoing performances appraisals of department employees based on job descriptions, generic and unit structure standards, protocols, procedures and unit based performance standards.
  • Utilizes technology, procedures, protocols, standards and interventions specific to assigned units. Evaluates, implements, and troubleshoots the technology in the specialty.
  • Conflict Management - Understanding of how to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level; ability to apply this understanding appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Technical Competence - Demonstrates breadth and/or depth of professional/technical skills and capabilities required for position; shares knowledge; sets or contributes to the Company's direction within area of expertise.

Job Requirements
Required
  • Bachelors Other or Combination of education and/or additional job related experience in lieu of the degree., upon hire and
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in related field. and
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
