The posted compensation range of $280,000 - $300,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) medical group is seeking a motivated Primary Care Physician to join our patient-centered organization in Morro Bay, CA!
As our Primary Care Physician (IM / FM), you will join Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC), a physician-led, patient-centered medical group in Morro Bay, CA. This is a unique opportunity for a driven physician to lead and grow an established primary care clinic at our Dignity Health Morro Bay location.
You will provide expert primary care with significant autonomy, collaboration, and flexibility. This role offers Program Leadership Potential, allowing you to serve as a foundational physician leader, influence clinical protocols, mentor staff, and cultivate a high-performing culture centered around a comprehensive approach to health. You will manage routine checkups, treat acute illnesses, coordinate care for complex chronic conditions, and collaborate with local leadership to shape preventive health service lines. The clinic ensures modern treatment delivery, while resources like nursing staff, care coordinators, and lab access connect you to an integrated support team.
To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated Board Certified/Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician passionate about fostering a positive culture and delivering high-quality care to our coastal community. We are offering a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $280 -$300k annually plus quality and productivity incentives. You will also receive a generous Sign-On Bonus, Relocation Assistance, and a CME Allowance. Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active or eligible license in the state of California
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
