The posted compensation range of $35.64 - $40.20 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team.
Every day, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and Physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient safety, and excellent communication. Your compassionate demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- Provides patient care in the clinic as needed and uses equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
- Participates in clinic teams, work groups, committees and/or quality improvement initiatives. Attends all staff meetings.
- Able to perform CLIA waived lab tests and communicate results with the provider.
- Administer medications and immunizations safely to patients of all ages and perform blood draws
- Documents in the electronic medical record according to policy/procedure, standards and guidelines. completes daily functions and responsibilities. Paperwork completed daily.
- Performs routine physical/psychosocial assessment to collect basic data, implements the written treatment plan initiated by the RN. Re-evaluates patients on an on-going basis with collaboration with the Visiting Nurse RN, to ensure efficiency in the delivery of care to determine immediate priorities and to offer solutions for problems. Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care.

- Vocational School Grad
- One year in a Clinic setting
- Licensed Vocational Nurse: CA
- Basic Life Support - BLS through an American Heart Association provider
- Driver's License: CA
- Auto Insurance
- Expanded IV Therapy Course
Wound Care
Verbal and written communication skills and working knowledge of Google Workspace
Computer experience, exemplary telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
