The posted compensation range of $55.95 - $65.91 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Imaging Tech II to join our dynamic and growing Radiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including routine MRI and diagnostic radiographic procedures, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
- Perform routine MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including basic trauma and fluoroscopic procedures in surgery.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions.
- Position patients accurately and efficiently to obtain optimal images.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Process and evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation by hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to all radiation safety protocols and regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure continuous improvement in imaging services.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.
- Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA approved school.
- Cross-training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required.
- ARRT (national) License required.
- CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification required.
- Certification in one modality required.
- Must maintain Fire Safety card.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
