The posted compensation range of $64.62 - $76.13 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Imaging Tech, you will perform a variety of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures across diverse imaging modalities, under the general direction of departmental leadership.

Every day, you will expertly operate complex imaging equipment, precisely execute imaging protocols, and meticulously monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will skillfully produce high-quality diagnostic images, collaborate effectively with the medical team, and steadfastly advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes within the imaging environment.

  • Responsible for upholding Dignity Health visions, values and guiding principles. Responsible for maintaining positive morale levels in areas supervised. Communicates in a positive and effective manner with customers and staff.
  • Will function as Clinical Supervisor in his/her absence.
  • Responsible for the routine daily operation of the Radiology in the absence of the Radiology Supervisor.
  • Responsible for the directing and supervising of staff. All technical and clerical aspects of the department including service, patient satisfaction and problematic issues as they arise.
  • Responsible for employee schedule, daily work assignments, and productivity standards. This also includes coordinating the call schedule and participating on call and standby.
  • Works with Supervisor and Director to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school
  • Associate Of Arts or Bachelors Of Science in Radiologic technology
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience inleadership skills
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a hospital and radiology department
  • Medical Radiographer: CA
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA
  • Fire Safety, within 90 Days and
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT or
  • Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry or
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography or
  • Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Mammography or
  • Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance  Imaging or
  • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology or
  • Registered Technologist Quality Management or
  • Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy or
  • Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad or
  • Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography


Preferred

  • Previous supervisory experience
