The posted compensation range of $36.00 - $47.09 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Processing professional, ready to take the reins and guide a vital team? If you possess a minimum of three years of dedicated sterile processing experience, including at least one year in a leadership capacity, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Guiding and mentoring a dedicated team of technicians, ensuring every instrument is meticulously processed and readily available for our surgical suites.
- Knowing that your leadership in sterile technique directly contributes to preventing surgical site infections and optimizing patient safety.
- Collaborating seamlessly with our OR staff to anticipate needs, troubleshoot challenges, and guarantee a smooth, uninterrupted surgical schedule.
- Implementing innovative strategies, embracing new technologies, and continuously elevating our sterile processing capabilities.

Job Requirements
- High School / General Studies (GED) required.
- Minimum three (3) years technical operating/instrument room experience required.
- Prior supervisory experience required
- AHA Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) required
- Fire Safety, within 90 Days of start date required.
- Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
- Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech (CSPDT) required.
- Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech (CSPDT -CBSPD) required.
Preferred
- College Degree in a related field preferred.
- Accredited Central Service/Sterile Processing Program and/or Surgical Technology Program preferred.
- Hospital acute care preferred.
- Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) preferred.
- Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) within 6 months preferred.
