The posted compensation range of $25.27 - $31.76 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Requirements
- High School GED General Studies required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) required.
- Fire Safety (within 90 days of start date) required.
- Knowledge of specialty instruments and thorough knowledge of disinfecting and sterilization procedures
Preferred
- Associates Other and one (1) year technical operating/instrument room experience in sterile processing preferred.
- Bachelor's Other and one (1) year technical operating/instrument room experience in sterile processing preferred.
- Prior large Hospital/acute care experience preferred.
- GI experience preferred.
- Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech (CSPDT-CBSPD) preferred.
- Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Supervisor (CSPDS) preferred.
- Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech (CSPDT) preferred.
Where You'll Work
Founded in 1955, Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located. Serving over 80,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center, heart care, cancer care, and women’s health. It is the only pediatric trauma center in the San Fernando Valley.
Additionally, Northridge Hospital Medical Center has been recognized as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. It is a Joint Commission-certified Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center and has been recognized as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades in 2026.
