The posted compensation range of $475,000 - $600,000 /Year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Creighton University - CHI Health Division Chief - Hematology Oncology
Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health seek to recruit a visionary leader to serve as the Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology, and expand our clinical, research, and educational activities within our Department of Medicine in partnership with The Henry Lynch Cancer Center.
The new leader will join an established high volume system with broad referral networks in partnership with Radiation Oncology, Pulmonary Medicine, our Breast Center of Excellence, Surgical Oncology and Orthopaedic Sarcoma programs. This unique opportunity is positioned to initiate clinical research trials within the school of medicine, and to assist in cancer center leadership. The opportunity is ripe for a visionary leader to grow the Hematology/Oncology Division in all of its domains, including the establishment of a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program - partnering with outstanding employed and independent colleagues, and forward-thinking and dynamic academic and business leadership.
At Creighton University - CHI Health, our Department of Medicine is one of the pillars within the School of Medicine and our Academic Health System. The program is part of our integrated, multispecialty system, working with every member in subspecialty surgery, committed to the highest outcome of every procedure we perform. In addition, our program is further augmented by our many other resources associated with our academic institution, including our institute of population health, biomedical and cancer research.
Candidates are expected to be board certified in Hematology/Oncology, and have a track record of scholarly and educational activities commensurate with the rank of either Associate or full Professor at Creighton University.
- Working in an academic and teaching environment educating Creighton University’s residents and medical students and conducting research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine.
- The position will be resourced for scholarly endeavors including clinical trials & opportunities for collaboration with basic and translational scientists at the Creighton Henry Lynch Cancer Center
