The posted compensation range of $35.18 - $51.01 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As the Nurse Residency Clinical Site Coordinator, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the nurse residency experience at the site level. In partnership with the Nurse Residency Program Director, facility CNO/designee, and market, division, and national leaders, you will drive program coordination, oversight, and continuous improvement.
Every day, you will serve as the on-site champion for the residency program, ensuring alignment across teams and providing visible support. In collaboration with clinical education, you will maintain program standardization, support accreditation, and uphold a high-quality, consistent experience.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a person-centered approach, ensuring nurse residents feel supported as they transition into practice, stay engaged in their work, and build lasting, meaningful careers within the organization.
As Nurse Residency Program Coordinator, you will:
- Partner with the Nurse Residency Supervisor to maintain and continuously improve program standards, structure, curriculum, and processes that support resident progression and retention
- Plan, implement, evaluate, and refine the Nurse Residency Program to ensure effectiveness and sustainability
- Facilitate residency classes in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Educators
- Establish and track measurable program outcomes, including timelines and accountability
- Collaborate with site leadership to ensure consistent execution, clear performance expectations, and accountability
- Develop and support faculty, preceptors, residents, and local leadership while assessing knowledge, skills, and practice gaps
- Champion a high-quality, mission-driven program that aligns with organizational goals, promotes interprofessional collaboration, and delivers a consistent site-level experience
Nurse Residency Program Coordinator Schedule
- Work a Monday–Friday RN schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays, supporting a healthy and sustainable work-life balance.
Job Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing,
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in the acute care setting
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Current license as RN in Nebraska, Iowa or multi-state compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS or BLS instructor) is required upon hire.
- Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Heart Association: Basic Life Support.
