The posted compensation range of $310,000 - $310,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist you will join our dynamic Psychiatric Associates team providing inpatient care at Lasting Hope Recovery Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Here you will join a team of psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners working together to care for our patients. Whether you are looking for inpatient or outpatient practice models, the CHI Health network has the flexibility to fit your career goals.
In this role you would provide in-person care within our 64-bed facility. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, supplemented by participation in a reasonable 1-weekend-per-month call rotation. Your core focus will be conducting daily patient rounds and developing comprehensive treatment plans, managing admissions, discharges, and consultations, performing medication management and thorough psychiatric assessments. In addition you will be providing clinical supervision and instruction for psychiatry residents and fellows on occasion. You will be supported by a robust leadership team committed to professional growth and longevity, ensuring this role offers a stable and rewarding environment for a psychiatrist to thrive.
Success in this role is measured by a combination of clinical effectiveness, patient outcomes, and contributions to the unit. This includes demonstrating proficiency in stabilizing acute psychiatric symptoms, facilitating safe and timely discharges with appropriate aftercare plans, and achieving high levels of patient and family satisfaction while adhering to best practices and ethical guidelines. Additionally, successful psychiatrists contribute to a positive team environment, effectively mentor trainees, and actively engage in quality improvement initiatives within the facility.

Job Requirements
Required
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology - General Adult Psychiatry
- Active or Eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Iowa
- DEA in good standing with no restrictions
- BLS
- A record of excellence in clinical care and education
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care

Last Hope Recovery Center offers a pillar of a comprehensive service line providing services across the state of NE and southwest IA, including a full continuum of services including inpatient, outpatient, partial, residential and integrated primary care.
