The posted compensation range of $35.62 - $52.99 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As an Education Professional, you will be a vital contributor to the planning, coordination, and delivery of essential healthcare-related educational and training programs.
Every day, you will actively assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs. You will also provide direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives, ensuring effective learning experiences for all participants.
To be successful in this role, you will combine strong organizational and presentation skills with a deep understanding of healthcare education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively engage and train diverse groups of healthcare professionals and staff.
- Educational Software & System Administration:
- Serve as the primary systems administrator for education and policy software, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and policy management software.
- Collaborate with management, stakeholders, and Education team members to understand, document, and analyze business needs for education department software solutions.
- Maintain current knowledge of business processes, integration, operations, workflows, and applications related to education department software.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers, key stakeholders, and IT teams to analyze information needs, functional requirements, and deliver technical artifacts.
- Provide direct support to all stakeholders on education department software systems, run reports, and conduct in-service training sessions (in-person or webinars).
- Ensure software system issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved promptly, escalating prolonged or unresolved issues to management.
- Serve as the main contact for education department-related IT issues and projects, providing appropriate communications, resources, and follow-up.
- Administer and troubleshoot learning management and policy management software, providing end-user support.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of academic affiliation agreements, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and institutional requirements, including negotiating, executing, and renewing contracts and memoranda of understanding (MOUs).
- Direct the standardized onboarding, orientation, and placement processes for students from academic affiliations, ensuring efficient coordination of required documentation, health screenings, background checks, and access provisioning (e.g., electronic health record access, facility access).
- Establish and maintain robust partnerships with local universities and colleges to facilitate clinical rotations and experiential learning opportunities for students across market facilities
- Administrative & Coordination Support:
- Perform comprehensive administrative functions, including greeting visitors, answering telephones, maintaining an efficient filing system, and composing correspondence.
- Type letters, memoranda, reports, contracts, forms, and other materials from drafts, including proofreading and correcting completed work.
- Arrange meetings, conferences, and travel for management, preparing and processing expense reports in a timely manner.
- Generate various reports as requested.
- Administers and maintains comprehensive education calendars, which involves coordinating room reservations, meticulously tracking attendance records for various educational sessions, and scheduling and rescheduling appointments to ensure smooth logistical operations.
- Coordinate various meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes, developing correspondence, and ensuring follow-up on committee decisions.
- Responsible for the new hire process, including provisioning and scheduling of various orientations.
- Educational Program Support & Compliance:
- Contribute to the assessment and prioritization of organization-wide education needs as identified by the Education department and facility and market leadership.
- Assist in the planning, development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of education programming.
- Serve as administrator and primary support for online learning management and clinical reference resource systems.
- Support compliance with regulatory and professional standards related to education.
- Participate in and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in and support patient and employee safety programs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic and operational department plans, particularly those related to education.
- Foster interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships with internal and external teams to promote learning and facilitate education around new initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison for student learning experiences.
- Fiscal and Resource Management:
- Assist in planning for and managing fiscal and other resources related to educational programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate of a school of nursing (ADN, BSN or MSN)
- Current CA RN license
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Preferred
