At CHI St. Joseph’s Health, we believe that true healing extends far beyond medicine—it encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. As a Spiritual Caregiver, you will serve as a vital member of our holistic care team, providing personalized, age-specific spiritual support to patients, families, and our dedicated staff. Whether you are comforting a grieving family, walking alongside a hospice patient in their final journey, or offering a grounded presence to a busy medical team, your role is to ensure that every individual feels seen, heard, and supported in their unique spiritual journey.
As a Spiritual Caregiver, you will act as a bridge between clinical medicine and spiritual wellness. You will integrate seamlessly into our care teams to ensure that a patient’s emotional and spiritual needs are considered alongside their physical health. By providing specialized care to patients ranging from neonates and pediatrics to the elderly, you will bring peace and clarity to those navigating life’s most vulnerable moments. Through collaborative peer reviews and ongoing clinical development, you will continue to refine your practice, ensuring the highest standards of pastoral excellence in the Park Rapids community.
To be successful in this role, you will be a person of deep empathy and professional resilience. You should possess a Bachelor’s Degree and a genuine desire to serve individuals from all walks of life and belief systems. We value candidates who can maintain a calm, steady presence in high-pressure healthcare environments and who view their work as a true calling to serve. While you are a professional in the healthcare space, your greatest tools will be your compassionate heart, your listening ear, and your ability to bring comfort during times of transition.
