The posted compensation range of $47.41 - $70.52 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Manager, Cardiovascular, you will provide vital leadership and operational oversight for a comprehensive range of cardiovascular services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Every day you will manage the daily operations of assigned cardiovascular units or services, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and process improvement initiatives.

Job Summary:

Coordinates and manages patient care employees; directs functioning of the echocardiography and ECG departments; acts as liaison with physicians, patients, families, and staff. Responsible for daily operation activities, employee schedules, call schedules, as well as patient-physician procedure scheduling. Coordinates and supervises HeartLab PACS digital archiving, Epiphany ECG archiving for the department. Act as a liaison between CVD and other departments to maintain access to all systems. Manages the department charges process including daily reconciliation, maintenance of patient records, monitors and ensures HIPAA compliance. Actively participates in and works with the Medical Director and Senior Director in Policy and procedure formulation as well as Quality review of diagnostic studies. Maintains ICAEL accreditation for St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center as well as St. Joseph's at Westgate and St. Joseph's Cancer Center. Functions as Technical Director for the ICAEL accreditation.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical knowledge in cardiovascular care, exceptional leadership and communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of cardiovascular service line operations, and proven experience in a healthcare leadership role, preferably within a cardiovascular setting.

  • Verifies physician requests for the examination by review of medical records or contacting the physician when questions arise.
  • Performs adult echo cardiograms within ICAEL guidelines: M-Mode, Doppler, 2D and Color Flow.
  • Schedules and performs TEE echocardiograms at the bedside or outpatient setting, or in the CVOR.
  • Assists with Intracardiac, 2D and 3D TEE's and echocardiograms in the Cath lab.
  • Schedules and performs stress medicine induced stress echocardiograms and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram's.
  • Assist/obtains RN coverage for diagnostic testing when necessary.

  • Bachelors Other and a combinationof Education and or job related experience, upon hire and
  • Five years Registered Sonographerexperience, with experience as Supervisor or Clinical Lead
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
