The posted compensation range of $300,000 - $400,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Academic OB/GYN Physician, you will help patients achieve optimal women's health outcomes and educate learners so they can thrive in their careers and provide exceptional care. This position is located in the growing Phoenix metro.
To be successful in this role, you must be board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN and possess a strong passion for teaching and clinical excellence.
- Candidates should be interested in educating residents in OBGYN, as well as rotating residents from Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine
- In-house call. Call frequency of 1:10
- Full support and clinical integration with our Divisions of MFM/Advanced Gynecology/ and Gynecological Oncology
- Support of Pediatric Cardiologists and all sub-specialists from Phoenix Children's Hospital
- Physicians dedicated to work-life balance and a commitment to address physician well-being
- RN coordinators and fully dedicated office/support staff

Job Requirements
Required
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Completed ACGME Residency training
- Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
- Team-oriented provider passionate about providing quality care and furthering the healing ministry, while serving the poor and underprivileged

St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center – Phoenix: St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center serves as a major tertiary referral and academic center in Central Phoenix and is a principal teaching site for Creighton University School of Medicine – Phoenix graduate medical education programs.
Our OBGYN faculty physicians care for patients with complex maternal and fetal conditions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across obstetrics, neonatology, anesthesia, critical care, cardiology, surgery, and other subspecialties.
St. Joseph’s serves as an important referral destination for high-risk pregnancies from throughout Arizona and the surrounding region.
