The posted compensation range of $43.10 - $64.11 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Clinical Informaticist Professional, you will leverage health information technology and data to optimize clinical workflows and enhance patient outcomes.

Every day you will analyze complex healthcare data, design informatics solutions, and collaborate with clinicians and IT to integrate systems toward improved usability and efficiency.

To be successful, you will bridge technology and clinical practice, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication to drive effective solutions and user adoption.

  • Combines the skills of superb communication, change management, risk management, and coalition building with political finesse, business acumen and strategic application knowledge to foster the use of clinical information systems to meet the overall goals of Dignity Health.
  • Plans/develops/implements/upgrades/maintains/evaluates healthcare informatics programs. Participates in work to maintain and revise components of informatics programs. Develops/documents and leads processes for multi-disciplinary end-user input. Maintains open communication among user groups to identify needs, determine issue/problem areas, and facilitates resolution.
  • Exhibits consistently high verbal and written communication skills that: Demonstrates cooperation, collaboration and
  • integration of divergent ideas, consensus building, cooperation and knowledge generation. Results in clear and accurate exchange of information and knowledge among team members. Communicates in a responsive and responsible manner that supports a team approach to problem solving, issue resolution, and innovation.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be an effective team leader and team member. Ability to coordinate activities of team members ensuring team actions are understood, changes in information are shared, and team members have the necessary resources. Actively assesses situational elements to gain information, understanding and maintain awareness to support functioning of the team (intra-departmental, workgroups, etc.).
  • Demonstrates the ability to anticipated and support other team members needs through accurate knowledge about their responsibilities and workloads. Successfully applies relationship-building values and the principles of team dynamics to perform effectively in different team roles that is timely, efficient, effective, and equitable.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors Degree in nursing or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years acute care nursing clinical experience, upon hire and
  • 1+ Electronic Health Record (E.H.R.) implementation experience (super user, trainer or implementation project team member), preferably Cerner
  • Registered Licensed Nurse: AZ


Preferred

  • Masters Other Informatics certification
  • 5 Years clinical informatics experience
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, supervisory or management experience.
