The posted compensation range of $36.51 - $54.31 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As a key member of the Human Resources team, the Supervisor HR Operations-System supports the department leadership in fostering positive employee relations and effective HR operations within designated departments, facilities, markets, and/or regions. The Supervisor HR Operations-System serves as a primary point of contact for employees and first-line managers on Human Resource-related inquiries and issues. This role focuses on the day-to-day application of HR policies, procedures, and practices, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management support, initial policy interpretation, training coordination, and data management. Supervisor HR Operations-System mentors and guides HR Coordinators, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of HR services. This position collaborates with the HR Leaders, HR department team members, and Centers of Expertise (CoE) to ensure consistent application of HR programs and support the strategic objectives of CommonSpirit Health.
- Operational Support & Partnership: Supports the HR Leaders and team members in aligning HR activities with business objectives. Assists in implementing HR initiatives and programs. Collaborates with management and employees to ensure HR processes are understood and followed. Proactively identifies operational needs and communicates them to the HR Leaders. Assists with delivery resolution of escalated customer service issues, advanced administrative support, transaction processing and auditing, training, and/or quality initiatives. Provides supervisory leadership on the full range of operational Human Resources activities and in transaction management, mergers and acquisition, insourcing, outsourcing and internal projects.
- Supervision & Mentorship: Provides day-to-day supervision and guidance to HR Coordinators. Assigns tasks, monitors work quality, and provides feedback to support their development. Assists in training new team members on HR processes and systems.
- HR Program Coordination: Coordinates with the HR Leaders and CoEs to support the implementation of various HR programs, including benefits enrollment, training sessions, and employee engagement activities. Assists in promoting awareness and understanding of these programs among employees and leaders. Lead and support a positive employee experience through onboarding, New Employee Orientation, aligning processes to support manager and employee self-service transactions, while ensuring integrity of data maintained in various systems.
- Data Management & Reporting: Oversees the accurate input and maintenance of HR data in relevant systems. Assists in generating basic HR reports and metrics to support HR initiatives and decision-making. Supervise the day-to-day processing and delivery of a centralized model of HR administration related to employee data transactions, HR transactions, and records management.
- HR Projects & Initiatives: Actively leads, participates in and or contributes to HR projects and initiatives as assigned by next level HR Leaders, focusing on execution and implementation.
- Policy & Procedure Application: Provides guidance to employees and managers on the interpretation and application of CommonSpirit Health HR policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with internal guidelines and assists in educating staff on policy updates.
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors Other in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, upon hire or
- Comparable combination of education and experience.
Preferred
- Professional in Human Resources, upon hire
