The posted compensation range of $24.98 - $28.18 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our Behavioral Health Administrative Support Representative II, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, families, and visitors, guiding them through the arrival process, advising on appointment schedules, and collecting/updating critical demographic and insurance information. You will ensure a smooth check-in experience by verifying eligibility, accurately collecting copayments, and maintaining detailed messages for provider and office staff.
Every day, you will organize and safeguard client charts, prepare and file documentation, and coordinate with clinical teams while performing a variety of clerical and data entry tasks. In handling these responsibilities, you will pay special attention to the sensitive nature of the care delivered in a mental health environment and uphold a high level of professionalism and privacy.
To be successful in this role, you will combine exceptional organizational skills with a strong customer service mindset, demonstrating compassion, confidentiality, and collaborative teamwork. Your dedication to accurate recordkeeping, effective communication, and operational efficiency will help create a positive and reassuring atmosphere for those seeking mental health care.
Job Requirements
Required:
- High School Graduate
- Some Medical Office experience in a front office setting
- Demonstrated experience working in a setting that requires multi-tasking skills
Preferred:
- 1 (one) or more years of experience in medical office setting, mental health setting desirable
- Experience with multi-line phones/ACDphones
