Responsibilities

The Manager, Data Analytics and Program Management will lead and coordinate acute and ambulatory data analysis tasks, overseeing a Data Analyst in the process. This role will play a key part in driving and supporting various quality and value-based and analytics projects and collaborating closely with the finance team. The Manager will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of routine dashboards and report summaries for senior leadership and committees, as well as performing prioritized analyses related to value projects and initiatives. Additionally, the Manager will support payroll calculations for bonus measures and provide insights into financial data for compensation, budgeting, and incentives, for MMG.

- Manages a team of analysis and program managers directly or indirectly to support the administrative infrastructure of MMG.

- Lead and coordinate acute and ambulatory data analysis tasks to ensure timely and accurate reporting of key metrics and business insights. Supervise Data Analyst #2, providing direction, oversight, and development support.

- Lead and coordinate value-based analytics projects, collaborating with Department Chairs and The Executive Leadership Team and Operational Leaders to meet strategic goals. Provide data-driven insights that support decision-making for various value and operational initiatives.

- Develop, revise, and maintain routine dashboards for Board, Operations Council, and QEIC meetings, ensuring that data is accurate, clear, and actionable. Create and deliver regular report summaries and analyses for senior leadership committees.

- Support payroll calculations related to bonus measures, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of data tied to compensation. Provide financial analysis related to compensation, budget, and incentives across the organization. Partner with DHMF financial analysts to validate and communicate financial data to the ELT and Division Heads.

- Manage prioritized programs to support key value-based projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals.

- Collaborate with MMG and DHMF teams, including finance, operations, and leadership, to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions. Communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Health Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading a data analytics team, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial analysis, compensation structures, budgeting, and incentives.
  • Experience working with financial data and familiarity with healthcare or value-based care metrics.
  • Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Sheets, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present data and insights to senior leadership and committees.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Business or Health Administration
  • Experience in healthcare analytics or working collaboratively with finance and operational teams in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with CSH, DHMF and MMG financial structuresand reporting.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and dashboard design.
  • Experience with payroll systems or bonus/compensation calculations.
