The posted compensation range of $150,000 - $160,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our Full-Time Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA), you will join Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican's well-established and collaborative team at Dominican Hospital in beautiful Santa Cruz, CA. You will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to hospitalized patients overnight, primarily focusing on acute care and managing complex medical conditions within a supportive, team-oriented setting. You will work under the supervision of experienced nocturnists, delivering care within an Open ICU where no procedures or codes are required. This position offers an exceptional work-life balance with a balanced 7 on, 7 off work schedule consisting of 10-hour shifts, allowing for ample personal time to enjoy all that Santa Cruz offers. Additional admitting/swing shifts are also available for extra compensation, providing flexibility and increased earning potential.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for acute care in a hospital setting and a desire to contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered team. You will thrive in a supportive environment, dedicated to both clinical excellence and the well-being of its providers.
We are offering a competitive annual salary ranging from $150,000 - $160,000, depending on experience. You will also receive a generous Sign-on Bonus of $20,000 and Relocation Assistance of $20,000. Your comprehensive benefits package includes 100% employer-paid medical and dental coverage, an employer-sponsored pension and 401(k) with matching, a CME allowance, and malpractice coverage. As a PSLF-eligible employer, this position also offers significant student loan forgiveness opportunities.
Job Requirements
Required
- Active or eligible license in the state of California
- Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
- Completion of statemandated educational courses
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Minimum one to two years of clinical experience
