The posted compensation range of $86.94 - $103.35 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As our Pharmacist, you will work closely with Medical Oncologists, community physicians, and Oncology Nursing staff to deliver the best possible care and outcomes for our patients. Every day you will serve as Senior Pharmacist by directly reporting to and collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager or Director, fully supporting Marian Regional Medical Center’s healthcare philosophy and fostering continuous improvement and excellence in medication management.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert drug information and pharmaceutical guidance to healthcare professionals, patients, families, and the public to ensure safe, effective medication use.
- Serve as a staff pharmacist and clinical pharmacy leader by establishing, maintaining, and expanding clinical pharmacy programs.
- Mentor and educate pharmacists and technicians while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and allied staff to advance clinical pharmacy practices and protocols.
- Maintain and enhance clinical pharmacy services under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager/Director, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Demonstrate specialized knowledge in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, sterile compounding, and clinical program development.
- Optimize medication management programs and lead the development and implementation of clinical and operational protocols to improve oncology pharmacy practice.
- Participate in clinical trials, develop new treatment protocols, and serve as a resource for oncology-related drug information and education.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- RG PHARMST or PHRMDG
- Ability to exercise sound and professional judgement in the performance of the job functions.
- Ability to analyze complex tasks, systems, problems, and design and implement the most effective solution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, principles, methods and equipment utilized in providing pharmaceutical services.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASHP accredited hospital residency preferred.
- Oncology Infusion Center Oncology background strongly preferred and serves as Pharmacist in Charge.
- Previous hospital experience preferred or approved residency.
- Previous Oncology experience
- PGY1 and/or PGY2 Oncology
- BCOP
