The posted compensation range of $43.10 - $64.11 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As our Supervisor, Contracting, you will guide the development of new agreements while ensuring that all contractual obligations remain compliant. You will manage processes related to maintaining accurate records, verifying payment documentation, and overseeing day-to-day compliance activities.
Every day, you will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review and validate contracts, provide direction to staff conducting audits, and resolve questions or issues that arise in the contracting process. You will champion efficiency and transparency, ensuring that documentation is properly maintained and up to date.
To be successful in your role, you will rely on your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to lead and support a team. By consistently monitoring procedures and encouraging best practices, you will help maintain credibility and integrity in the contracting function.
- Essential Job Functions
- Collaborates with physicians, and physician organizations to develop and pursue mutually beneficial business opportunities.
- Works to ensure compliance with existing contracts and develops processes to ensure continued compliance.
- Assists CFO, Business Development Director and CEO as requested.
- Serves as internal consultant to support patient service areas in the growth and development of new or existing targeted services.
- Works with CHW corporate office and medical center departments to develop systems for tracking and analyzing volume, revenue, financial results, and outcomes for targeted services and business lines.
- Coordinates preparation of all documents needed for requesting assistance from CHW Legal Department in preparation of physician contracts; works effectively with Hospital Executives to manage contract preparation process in a timely manner.
- Effectively and proactively communicates critical information to executives; positively influences processes and approaches to accomplishing work and meeting deadlines.
- Proactively addresses concerns and prepares for meetings; understands and effectively manages political sensitivities inherent in the work.
- Produces accurate and effective reports and documents; effectively tracks, monitors and updates information.
- Supervises employees who audit and help with the physician contracting process. Reviews staff within proper timeframes, communicates with staff and counsels when appropriate.
- Develops and maintains an effective system for tracking and monitoring physician contract expiration dates for all contracts and related documents; establishes and maintains effective process for requesting renewal contracts prior to expiration dates.
- Receives, tracks and monitors all requests for payments to physicians; verifies request against contract requirements to ensure compliance; ensures accurate and timely processing of payments.
- Compliance with policy and procedures
- Complies with safety, infection control, CHW Integrity Program, and other organizational policies (90-day evals- department specific orientation checklists completed; annual evals -annual competency checklists completed).
- Complies with the organizations's dress code.
- Arrives at work on time, as defined by the Attendance and Timeliness Policy.

Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors Other in Business Administration or Accounting, or related field and Three years progressive experience in business or financial analysis, preferably in health care or other business related environment with progressiver esponsibilities related to contracting andcompliance., upon hire
Preferred
- Experience in businessdevelopment analysis

Serving over 250,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, cancer care, orthopedics, and stroke care.
