The posted compensation range of $578,065 - $927,947 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Spine Surgeon, you will join our well established, busy practice on the campus of St. Michael Medical Center located in Silverdale, WA. This exciting opportunity allows you to practice in a supportive, physician-led setting with access to cutting-edge technology and a robust referral network within a regional healthcare leader.
Every day you will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, contributing to a collegial work environment. You will diagnose and treat a variety of conditions related to the spine, including back pain, neck pain, leg or arm pain and tingling, scoliosis, fractures of the spine, spinal tumors, and spinal infections.. As part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a faith-based, not-for-profit organization and proud member of CommonSpirit Health, you will be integral to a continuum of care that includes specialized services in orthopedics and rehabilitation, reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Spine Surgeon with exceptional surgical skills and a strong commitment to clinical superiority and patient-centered care.
You will be joining a thriving practice at St. Michael Medical Center, collaborating with another experienced Orthopedic spine Surgeon. Inpatient care and surgery will be performed in our state-of-the-art facilities at St. Michael Medical Center. We are looking for an exceptional surgeon with excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and a collaborative spirit to further enhance our orthopedic services.
- Provide comprehensive orthopedic spine care to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Perform a mix of clinic and operating room duties.
- Participate in shared spine call responsibilities, approximately 1 week per month.
- Collaborate effectively with your surgical partner, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, working alongside other specialists.
We are offering a competitive base salary that includes a guaranteed base salary and production incentives, commencement bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health and wellness benefits, 401k with match, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, CME allowance, relocation assistance, and potential eligibility for federal student loan forgiveness.
Job Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Board Certification/Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Completion of a Spine Fellowship training program
- Washington State Medical License in good standing prior to start date
- DEA registration in good standing prior to start date
