The posted compensation range of $39.18 - $58.28 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As a Clinical Surgery Coordinator RN, you will utilize your knowledge from biological, physical, and social sciences to assist the Manager in ensuring the effective delivery of nursing care.
Every day you will apply this specialized knowledge to support the coordination of surgical services, optimize patient flow, and ensure adherence to best practices in the surgical environment. You will contribute to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to facilitate seamless surgical operations and support the nursing team efficiently.
- Assists in coordinating the O.R. schedule
- Consults in a variety of patient care situations requiring advanced competency and knowledge
- Serves as a clinical resource for problem solving and Assists staff with patient‐related issues and emergency situations
- Collaborates with other departments and multiple patient care services such as Post‐Anesthesia Care, Biomed, Facilities Engineering, and Anesthesia to facilitate case progression, and ensure special requirements and quality nursing care for the patient
- Serves as a role model and Assists into developing staff competence in the delivery of nursing care based on national professional standards and Perioperative Services policies and procedures
- Identifies non‐compliance and demonstrates correct application of hospital policies and procedures. Refers to Policy and Procedure Manual as necessary for problem‐solving
Job Requirements
Required
- Two (2) years of operating room experience, upon hire
- Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days

St. Luke’s Health - The Woodlands Hospital is a 245 bed facility serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. The hospital has been recognized as a Best Hospital by U.S. News & World Report, and is proud to serve as the clinical home for the Dan L Duncan Cancer Center. The hospital was awarded an “A” hospital safety grade by The Leapfrog Group in both 2023 and 2025. Clinical services provided include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women’s services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level III nurseries), surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorder services.
