As our Breast Surgeon, you will join a physician-centric organization dedicated to delivering top-quality, accessible care within the community. You will have the opportunity to focus on patient well-being, supported by comprehensive resources designed to streamline administrative tasks and enhance your practice.
In your practice, you will engage in a flexible work week with 36 dedicated patient hours, typically involving four days in the clinic and one day in the operating room. You will leverage cutting-edge surgical technologies such as Trident and Savy Scout for precise breast lesion localization and collaborate closely with our on-site plastic surgeon for reconstruction cases. This role allows for deep patient engagement and specialized breast care without the requirement of free flap procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will be a board-certified or board-eligible Breast Surgeon committed to upholding the highest standards of medical ethics and customary practice. You will possess exceptional clinical skills and a passion for providing compassionate, high-value care.
- Delivers High-Quality Patient Care and Documentation: Physicians provide superior ambulatory care, conducting examinations, services, and maintaining meticulous medical records in accordance with all policies, including those for managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Adheres to Regulatory and Ethical Standards: Physicians strictly comply with all federal and state reimbursement plans, the ethical and religious directives of sponsoring entities, and the Hospital's comprehensive policies, procedures, and medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations.
- Engages in Quality Improvement and Peer Review: Physicians actively participate in clinical and quality improvement initiatives, contribute to physician peer review, utilization review, and serve on medical staff committees as assigned to enhance overall service delivery.
- Contributes to Operational Excellence and Professional Growth: Physicians advise on operational matters, including personnel, business oversight, and equipment evaluation, while maintaining professional competence through continuous medical education and board certification, staying abreast of the latest medical developments.
We are offering a $422,814 base salary plus incentive plan, $30,000 student loan repayment, a $42,281 sign-on bonus, $15,000 relocation assistance, CME funds, flexible time away, and a generous 401(k) with matching contributions.
Job Requirements
Required:
Board-eligible/Board-certified in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology
Active or eligible license in the state of Utah
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of breast surgery care principles
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
